Is it sinful to pledge allegiance? We have a President who rules by executive order and bypasses the constitutional checks and balances. We have a court system that ignores the will of the people and forces the homosexual agenda upon our society. We have a military that celebrates homosexual pride month every June. Four thousand babies are murdered every day in the good old U.S.A. The president picks and chooses which laws to enforce. The public school systems teach the homosexual agenda to our children. State after state legalizes marijuana. Gambling is legal in 49 states.
The government demands to know our every income source. The government listens in on our phone calls. The government investigates every financial transaction over $10,000. The government demands to know our every investment, pension payment, dividend, rental income, and on and on. The government demands Christians to bake wedding cakes for homosexuals in state after state. The government forbids prayer in the schools.
Jesus said to give unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's. Paul said we should give to the
government what is due the government. In other words we must give the government what it
deserves. The only thing this government deserves is a heaven-sent kick in the pants. And the Bible promises that Christians will administer the just judgment upon the nations. Revelations 2:26-27 says, “He that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron...”
I know most Christians are hoping to simply fly away and leave the world to the devil. I wish them a nice trip, but as for me, I hope to be left behind to receive the promise of power over the nations. The Bible promises in Daniel 7:18 that God's people are going to take over. The Bible promises that Christians shall judge not only angels, but also the world.
Is it sinful to pledge allegiance? If your pledge of allegiance is a promise to obey the government no matter what, then yes, it is sinful. If your pledge of allegiance is a promise to support the government so long as the government is in submission to the word of God, you have not sinned. The bottom line is this: your allegiance must first be to God, not man.
