I’m living my all for Jesus Christ.
I know this is what’s right.
To Him belongs my thought, my speech, my life.
Jesus redeemed me by His sacrifice;
How can I not life for Him with my all?
He delivered me from my fall
And set me up to stand tall
That I might be His light to all.
Christ calls His children to live all for Him—not just moderately, not just partially, not just in prayer, but in every area of our life. One might say, “This is too fanatical.” Ask yourself, would Christ want to listen to or sing lustful music? Would He enjoy foul and lewd speech? Would He laugh at the perversions in jokes? Would Jesus watch the shows you watch? Would you blush if He read over your shoulders what you’re reading? Would He weep at how you treat your loved ones, let alone strangers?
Yes, Jesus’love covers all, but His love is also transforming. If you are not being changed from glory to glory into His likeness, you don’t know Him. You have something else, and one day He will say He never knew you. Romans 12:1-2 says, “I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service, and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Jesus died for us that we who are made born again should no longer live unto ourselves (nor unto church) but unto Him. The church is just Christians who get together to encourage one another to know Jesus Christ and to live unto Him. If Christ is not there, it’s not church. Jesus is the important one. Jesus is the focus. He will be your judge when He returns. This society will be condemned. Those who laugh at you and call you fanatical will find great sorrow.
Living for Christ does not mean fulfilling your duty sitting in the pews and paying your tithes. It means walking, talking, and living with Jesus. Know Him by reading His word and listening to His Spirit speaking to you. God’s voice has a signature: it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Seek His face; He said, “Call upon me, and I will answer you and show you great and marvelous things.” God calls you to have a love relationship with Him. He promised to fill you with His Holy Spirit that you might have power from on High to be witnesses of God’s wonderful work in your life.
“He touched me! He touched me and, oh, the joy that filled my soul. Something happened and now I know. He touched me and made me whole.” Jesus will make you whole and ready for His coming if you will abide in Him. Live all for Him!
Love,
Betty
