There are almost no Christians in America. At the time of Noah's flood there were perhaps 3,000,000,000 people on Earth and only 8 were saved. Jesus said his return to Earth would be like in the days of Noah. There are many religious people and church goers, but almost zero real Christians. Be one of the eight.

What are the good people to do this election? I always vote and have never voted for a democrat because they are so evil, but some of these Republicans are so wicked I can not vote for them either. Most of Iowa's Republicans voted for the Respect of Marriage Act, so of course, Christians can not vote for them. The Respect of Marriage Act codified Sodomite marriages. Everyone who voted for this wicked act lacks judgment and wisdom and should not be in the government. I hope Jesus returns before this election and deports all the wicked to Hell. Malachi chapter 4 verse 3, "And ye shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet...".
I will not be happy simply to stop the wickedness. I want revenge. Second Thessalonians chapter 1 verses 7-9: And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them the know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power...
What good is Christianity if there is no power to deliver from sin? Jesus forgives us and then he delivers us from sin. The First Epistle of John speaks to 3 levels of maturity. The little children struggle with sin. The young men overcome the devil and sin. The fathers enjoy fellowship with God and prepare to see him.
The Bible says Jesus Christ died before he was born. God does not care if you do not understand this. Read Revelation Chapter 13 verse 8. The Bible says Jesus was crucified in Sodom and the Bible says Jesus was crucified in Egypt and the Bible says Jesus was crucified at Calvary or Golgotha . God does not care if you do not understand this. Read Revelation 11 verse 8.
Jesus prayed in the garden and asked to be delivered from the death of the cross. He then prayed not my will, but thine be done. Does this mean God has more than one will? Of course not. This means that just like you, Jesus faced the test and temptation to do the will of the flesh rather than the will of the spirit. Thankfully Jesus did not fail, but prayed and did the Father's will even in the darkest hour.
God came down from the throne of his glory and entered the Valley of the Shadow of Death to save his lost sheep. He did not leave Heaven unattended for 33 years, but rather the part of him that entered the realm of death is called the Son and the part of God that remained on the throne is called the Father. When the Son prayed to the Father he most positively was praying to himself. The Father had all the power and the glory. The Son had all the suffering and the cross. You are unable to be in both places at once: you are just a man. God is able to be in both place: in fact, he fills all heaven and earth.
Wow, I have studied the Bible 50 years and I missed that part about Ash Wednesday and Lent. But, then again, I also missed that part about Christmas, infant baptism, and a hundred other man made religious things.
There are three things one must do to understand the Bible. A Christian must overcome the error of the Trinity. The word "Trinity" is not in the Bible and the concept that God is 3 people is pagan. The Trinity is the very bedrock of anti-Christ and error. There is only one God and he has many titles, but only one name: the Lord Jesus Christ. The next step to understand the Bible is to know the word "Rapture" is not in the Bible and the concept that Christians will run away from trouble is totally opposite of what is going to happen. The Christians are going to take over the world and every knee will bow to Jesus Christ and to the victorious church. The third error we must overcome is the notion that there is a difference between Jews and Gentiles. The only difference between people is whether they are saved or lost. Those who are saved are the Israel of God and the true Jews. This is a major theme in all of Paul's writings.
