Jesus said in the gospel of John, chapter 14 verse 9, "...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father...". You may humble yourself and say amen or you may try to explain away the scripture to make it conform to your theology. Jesus said in John 14 verse 28, "...my father is greater than I." You may say amen or you may try to explain away the scripture to conform it to your own thoughts. The scriptures must set you free from carnal understanding so that you may be given a spiritual understanding, because the things of God can only be spiritually understood.

Do you belong to the true church? The Bible has several tests you may take to examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Today's test is this; do you know the name of your Father in heaven? Jesus said in Matthew 28 verse 19 that we must be baptized in the name of the Father so we must ask what is the Father's name? We know that "Father" is a title and not a name and we also know that Jesus said we must be baptized in the name that applies to not only the Father, but also to the Son and Holy Ghost. Look at the sentence structure of Matthew 28 verse19. Notice Jesus used the singular word, "name" and not the plural word "names"; therefore, our test to see if we are members of the true church is to see if we know what is that one name that applies to not only the Father, but also to the Son and Holy Ghost. This is also a test to determine who are the true ministers of the gospel. The true ministers know the name that is above every name and therefore they baptize people in His name. The wannabe ministers who are in darkness simply recite the three titles, Father, Son and Holy Ghost when they baptize. This is their confession of ignorance of the true name of God. Thankfully Malachi chapter 3 verse 18 tells us the day will come when God will show everyone who the true preachers are.
